Overview
The MCCI® Model 3141 USB4™ Switch is a computer-controlled programmable 2:1 switch, connecting two USB Type-C® receptacles to a single Type-C plug. It is compatible with USB4 hosts and devices, as well as other protocols such as Thunderbolt™ 3, USB 3.2 gen2 or gen1, USB 2.0, USB Type-C Alternate Modes, and of course Power Delivery.
MCCI Cricket UI Support
MCCI developed and released a convenient and user-friendly software "MCCI Cricket UI" control the Model 3141 USB4 Switch along with our other USB Switches and Connection Exercisers.

Detect connected MCCI devices
Control switch operation
Update device firmware

MCCI Cricketlib is a Simple python library for detecting and controlling MCCI USB Switches (Model 3141,3142,2101,2301,3201) and related device. designed for basic control and automation use.

Firmware Update Instructions (Model 3141)
Follow the steps below to update the firmware on your Model 3141 USB4 Switch.
Download the latest Model 3141 firmware (.hex) file from the attachments on this page.
Download and install the latest version of MCCI Cricket UI (Windows, Linux, or macOS).
Launch MCCI Cricket UI.
From the menu, select Tools → Model 3141/3142 Firmware Update.
Click Search to detect connected devices.
Select the detected Model 3141 Switch.
Click Load, choose the downloaded firmware HEX file, and start the update.
Wait for the update process to complete before disconnecting the device.
Note: Do not disconnect power or USB cables during the firmware update.
